You can keep specific parts of your profile private by hiding fields such as your phone number, email address and birthday from everyone - Including people on your friends list.

To do this, go to 'Settings', 'Profile'. Then push 'hide' next to each of the details you would like to hide.

If you change your mind, just push 'show' to reveal that field again.
